What to Do When Your Card Arrives

When you receive your new card in the mail, please take a few moments to complete the following steps:

  • Activate your card through Card Guard in Digital Banking or by calling 800-992-3808. You may select your own PIN at this time, if you do not wish to use the PIN that was mailed to you.
  • Add your card to your digital wallet to make secure, contactless purchases using your mobile device. Note: Digital wallet access will be available after August 19, 2026.
  • Update any stored payment information for subscriptions, streaming services, and recurring bills, as your card number has changed.

Completing these steps will help ensure a smooth transition to your new card.

What’s Changing

Updated Card Designs

Debit Cards Transitioning to Visa
Our debit cards are transitioning from the Mastercard network to Visa. This change provides expanded global acceptance while continuing to deliver the reliable service you expect from Achieve Financial.

Higher Debit Card Purchase Limits
As part of this update, the daily point-of-sale purchase limit for debit cards will increase from $1,500 to $2,500, providing greater flexibility for everyday purchases and larger transactions.

Contactless Tap-to-Pay
Our Platinum Rewards Visa Credit Card will include tap-to-pay technology, allowing you to make fast, secure contactless purchases at participating merchants.
