Credit scores can range from 300 to 850. At first, these numbers might not mean much to you. But before long, you'll realize that your credit score significantly impacts your ability to obtain loans, housing, and even certain jobs. Our Credit Score service empowers you to stay informed about your credit standing anytime, providing valuable updates on changes to your credit rating and the underlying factors driving those changes.

Enroll to keep your credit score top of mind

You can now enroll and access Credit Score through Achieve's Digital Banking, available on both desktop and mobile devices. Credit Score is integrated into your Digital Banking, so you don't need to create and remember another set of login credentials. By regularly monitoring your score and credit report, you can take steps to achieve financial freedom.

  • Look for the Credit Score widget and select the "show my score" button to start viewing your credit report in Digital Banking on desktop.
  • Or, navigate to Credit Score on the dashboard of Digital Banking on our mobile app.

What is SavvyMoney Credit Score?

SavvyMoney is a comprehensive Credit Score program offered by your credit union, that helps you stay on top of your credit. You get your latest credit score and report, an understanding of key factors that impact the score, and can see the most up to date offers that can help reduce your interest costs. With this program, you always know where you stand with your credit and how your financial institution can help save you money.

Credit Score also monitors your credit report daily and informs you by email if there are any big changes detected such as: a new account being opened, change in address or employment, a delinquency has been reported or an inquiry has been made. Monitoring helps users keep an eye out for identity theft.

Is Credit Score Free to Our Members?

Yes! It's also important to note that no credit card information is required to register.

How Can Members Enroll in Credit Score?

Members can enroll through Achieve Financial’s online and/or mobile banking app. 

Online Banking - Members will see a widget next to their accounts dashboard. They simply click the widget, agree to the Terms & Conditions and submit their permission to enroll. 

Mobile Banking – On the accounts screen, customers will be able to scroll to the bottom of their accounts and see a Credit Score tile. They click the tile and agree to the Terms & Conditions to submit their permission to enroll. 

Can Members Dispute Errors on Their Credit Report Through Credit Score?

Yes! Help members navigate to the “Start A Dispute” button at the very bottom of the Credit Report page. They can file a dispute directly with TransUnion using this link

Can a Member Download Their Credit Report in Credit Score?

Yes! On the Credit Report page, members can click “Download Report” in the top right corner. A PDF version of their full report and Achieve Financial offers will generate. They can choose to print or share their report electronically from there. 

How Often is My Credit Score Updated?

As long as you regularly access Digital Banking, your credit score will be updated every 7 days. You also can refresh your credit score and full credit report every 24 hours by clicking “Refresh Score” on the detailed Credit Score Dashboard.

Will Checking My Credit Score Impact My Credit? 

Credit Score is a “soft” credit check, which means the information gathered doesn’t report as a credit inquiry and won’t impact your credit score. 

Can a Member Unenroll From Credit Score?

Yes. On the Resources tab, they would select “Profile Settings”, scroll to the very bottom and select “Deactivate Credit Score Account.” Once unenrolled, members could choose to reenroll at any time through online or mobile banking. 

Can a Member Turn Off Email Notifications From Credit Score?

In Credit Score, members can manage their email notifications by navigating to the Resources Tab, selecting “Profile Settings” and change their preferences under Email Notifications. They can also change their subscription settings at the bottom of emails they receive. 

When Does a Members’ Status Change to Inactive in Credit Score?

If a member does not log in to online or mobile banking for 120 days, their Credit Score would go inactive, and they would be unenrolled. To reenroll, they would follow the normal enrollment procedures and they would regain access to their profile information.

Will Achieve Financial Credit Union Use SavvyMoney Credit Score to Make Loan Decisions?

No, Achieve Financial Credit Union uses its own lending criteria when making final loan decisions. However, the SavvyMoney tool can show you estimated savings opportunities on new and existing loans. Final rate, term, monthly payment, and other factors will be determined at the time of application.

Are the Loan Offers Listed Within Credit Score Firm Offers of Credit?

No. Achieve Financial Credit Union uses its own lending criteria when making final loan decisions, which includes an application process and updated credit bureau reporting. Please note, although Credit Score displays credit information to review and track, an application is required and a formal credit inquiry will be completed at that time.

How Can I Take Advantage if the Offers Listed?

Start the loan process by selecting the “Apply Now” option displayed within the feature.
