With Card Guard, you have real-time control to help prevent fraud and manage spending on your Achieve debit and credit cards — all from your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. Add another layer of protection by deciding when, where, and how your cards can be used, and receive real-time alerts for every transaction.

How to Access Card Guard

  1. Log in to Digital Banking from your desktop or mobile device.
  2. Navigate to Loan & Card Services in the main menu.
  3. Select Card Guard.
  4. Add your Achieve debit and credit cards.
  5. Set your preferences, alerts, and controls in just a few taps.

To receive the best app performance, verify the following:

Did you delete the Card Control App?
This App is no longer necessary to use for card management.

Don't see your open cards?
In your Card Guard settings, select "Hide/Show Cards". This allows you to view open cards or hide closed cards. 

Are you running the most current iOs or Android version?
If you do not have your smartphone phone set to Auto Update Apps, you can access your phone settings to see if an update is waiting to be downloaded.

Are you running the latest version of the Achieve FCU App
If you do not have your smartphone phone set to Auto Update Apps, you can access your phone settings to see if an update to your is waiting to be downloaded.

Are you accessing Card Guard from your primary device? 

Your mobile phone should be enabled as your primary device. Access Card Guard, go to settings and toggle primary device on. 

Are your location services turned on?
Because Card Guard offers Control Preferences and Alert Preferences based on Location, you would want to access your smartphone Settings > Apps > Achieve FCU. Find Location Services and make sure they are enabled.

Are Notifications allowed?
If you are not receiving alerts based on your Alert Preferences, access your smartphone Settings > Apps > Achieve FCU. Find Notification permissions and make sure they are enabled.
