Youth Accounts

Youth Savings

Help the "littles" in your life develop healthy financial habits from a young age with a Youth Savings from Achieve Financial. This account can be opened with as little as $5. When opening a youth account for a minor, the parent/guardian will sign as a Joint Owner on the account. This account will establish credit union membership for the youth, allowing them to open additional accounts and remain a member of the credit union for life.

We offer two Youth Savings Accounts. Our Kids Club Account is for children age 14 and younger. Our Smart Savings is for those aged 15-24 (this account can be complemented with a Smart Checking account). Our young members under 24 are also eligible to open a Smart Certificate account.

Education Savings Account

Get a jump start on saving for your child's education with a Coverdell Education Savings Account. With a Coverdell ESA, you can make contributions on behalf of the child until they reach 18. When the ESA funds are used to pay for qualified education expenses, the contributions and earnings are disbursed tax-free.

Anyone can help your child prepare for future success by contributing to the child's ESA, as long as they meet the modified adjusted gross income requirements, with maximum yearly contribution limits of $2,000.
